Explore our core product lineup engineered for chemical resistance, high pressure limits, and leak-free operations.
In modern industrial and civil engineering, fluid control networks demand materials that balance mechanical longevity, chemical inertia, and economic feasibility. UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) ball valves have emerged as the benchmark solution for low-to-medium temperature applications. Unlike traditional metal alloys, UPVC eliminates risks related to electrochemical corrosion and galvanic degradation, making it indispensable in modern piping designs.
From municipal water treatment plants in Western Europe to extensive aquaculture systems in Southeast Asia, the global consumption of UPVC valves continues to rise. Rapid urbanization and stringent environmental mandates have accelerated the transition from metallic piping to high-performance thermoplastic flow control components. By removing plasticizers from the PVC formulation, UPVC acquires high tensile strength, structural rigidity, and resistance to environmental stress cracking.
Ehao Plastic Group is a high-tech private enterprise integrating the R&D and production of building materials, pipe fittings, and high-precision injection moulds. Ehao has established itself as an authoritative leader of PVC/UPVC ball valves within the competitive Chinese domestic market, expanding its footprint internationally through commitment to quality and engineering precision.
Since its inception, the company has maintained strategic technological partnerships with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhejiang University. These collaborations ensure that our material formulations, molecular degradation resistance, and physical designs remain at the cutting edge of polymer science. By introducing state-of-the-art production lines and computer-automated injection molding machinery from Germany, we minimize variance and guarantee dimensional stability across all production runs.
Ehao is driven by a core philosophy: “Honest, dedicated, innovation and return”. We adopt a business model focused on quality for survival, science and technology for development, management for benefits, and service for credit. We offer global customers high-quality products, reasonable pricing, and exceptional service.
Production efficiency at our Chinese manufacturing facility is optimized through full integration. Ehao designs and fabricates its own plastic molds, controls its raw material compounding, and operates high-speed, automated injection units. This level of vertical integration reduces lead times and maintains competitive pricing without compromising quality.
Every single UPVC ball valve produced in our facility undergoes a comprehensive 26-step scientific testing protocol. This includes hydrostatic pressure tests, torque resistance measurements, thermal cycle tests, and structural inspection. Our strict quality control systems ensure a 100% ex-factory pass rate, preventing pipeline failures and costly downtime for our clients.
The technical indexes of our products fully comply with internationally recognized DIN 8077 and DIN 8078 standards, ensuring that they match or exceed the performance of premium European brands. Additionally, we provide custom plastic mold design, working directly from customer samples, technical drawings, or functional requirements.
In-house mold engineering and German injection systems guarantee dimensional tolerances below 0.05mm, preventing structural leaks and assembly issues.
Formulations developed in collaboration with leading academic institutions provide enhanced UV protection and chemical resistance against acids, bases, and salts.
Our hydrostatic test benches inspect each valve body at 1.5 times its rated pressure prior to packaging, ensuring field reliability.
Our UPVC ball valves are engineered to perform reliably across residential, industrial, and agricultural piping environments.
When sourcing valves for large-scale engineering projects, procurement departments must consider chemical compatibility, pressure ratings, and connection standards. UPVC ball valves are categorized by their body design (Compact vs. Double Union) and connection types (Socket vs. Threaded).
| Valve Property | Technical Specifications & Range | Engineering Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Available Sizes | 1/2" (20mm) to 4" (110mm) | Covers residential lines to main industrial distribution headers. |
| Working Pressure | PN10 (150 PSI) / PN16 (232 PSI) @ 20°C | Maintains pressure integrity in industrial pipelines. |
| Connection Standards | DIN (ISO), ASTM (ANSI), JIS, BS | Ensures compatibility with existing global pipe standards. |
| Seal Material Options | EPDM / TPE / O-Ring / PTFE Seats | Low torque operations with bubble-tight sealing and minimal wear. |
| Handle Configurations | ABS Ergonomic Handle / Stainless Steel Handle | Corrosion-proof manual levers designed for high-torque environments. |
Double Union vs. Compact Ball Valves: For pipelines requiring routine maintenance, cleaning, or modification, Double Union PVC Ball Valves allow the center body section to be removed without cutting the pipe. Compact Ball Valves (such as Octagonal or Round types) offer a shorter, lighter, and more economical layout for confined spaces.
The global industrial valve market is moving toward smart integrations and eco-conscious manufacturing. High-performance UPVC ball valves are increasingly adapted for pneumatic and electric actuation. These automated setups allow centralized SCADA control systems to manage line pressure and flow velocity in modern chemical and municipal treatment plants.
Additionally, regulatory frameworks like REACH and RoHS driving lead-free manufacturing have pushed polymer chemists to develop advanced non-toxic calcium-zinc (Ca-Zn) stabilizers. This guarantees that plastic piping components remain chemically safe for food processing, pharmaceutical pure-water systems, and municipal drinking networks, while maintaining structural performance.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) contains added plasticizers to make the material flexible and bendable, which is common in flexible tubing. UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) does not contain these plasticizing agents. The resulting polymer is rigid, tough, highly resistant to impacts, and chemically stable. This makes UPVC the ideal material for high-pressure, long-service-life valves and rigid piping systems.
UPVC valves have a maximum temperature limit of approximately 60°C (140°F). For hot water distribution, chemical process lines exceeding this limit, or steam applications, CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) or PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) should be used instead. CPVC can handle operational temperatures up to 90°C (194°F).
For Socket ends (solvent weld connections), clean both the pipe and the valve socket with primer, apply a thin coat of solvent cement, insert the pipe fully, and give a 1/4 turn to seal. Allow the joint to cure fully before pressurizing. For Threaded ends, wrap male threads with PTFE tape (Teflon tape). Avoid over-tightening threaded connections, as plastic can split under excessive mechanical stress.
We use high-grade EPDM gaskets and PTFE (Teflon) ball seats, which provide self-lubrication and low friction resistance during operation. Combined with our German injection machinery and strict 26-step quality control system, our valves resist seal wear and seat degradation, ensuring long-term bubble-tight shut-off.
Yes. Ehao's UPVC compound includes specialized UV stabilizers and carbon black elements that limit polymer degradation when exposed to sunlight. However, for outdoor pipelines under intense direct sunlight, we recommend insulating or painting the exposed valves and piping to prolong their operational life.
