Double Union Ball Valves have union connections at both ends. This design allows you to isolate and remove the center section of the valve for cleaning or seal replacement without cutting the pipe. Thermoplastics lose tensile strength as temperatures rise. Standard PVC fittings are rated for maximum working pressures at 20°C (68°F). As temperatures increase toward the material limit of 60°C (140°F), you must de-rate the system's operating pressure using standard temperature correction factors to prevent deformation.
